The latest personality to join the bandwagon of the ones being interrogated by Mumbai Police is renowned film critic Rajeev Masand. As per latest reports, the journalist has been summoned by the Mumbai Police in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's death investigation.
Reportedly Masand has been called in for interrogation to the Bandra Police station and will be questioned regarding the negative ratings given by him to Sushant's films. "The police could investigate if Masand was working at the behest of some powerful people - with a mission to defame Sushant" tweeted Sushant Mehta.
This comes after actor Kangana Ranaut made explosive statements in her recent interview with Republic TV where she urged the authorities to question Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt and Rajeev Masand.

Besides, Mukesh Chabbra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rhea Chakraborty, Sanjana Sanghi, Sushant's family, good friend Sandip Ssingh, actor's house staff, his chartered accountant, YRF’s Shanoo Sharma, among others have been called for interrogation by the Police so far.
Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 2020 and his post mortem reports suggest asphyxia due to hanging as the reason for death. However, reports of professional rivalry have also come to the surface in connection to his suicide case.
