Raj, my real life hero: Shilpa Shetty

The name Raj has been used on the big screen for the romantic hero many a time, but Shilpa Shetty says her businessman husband, Raj Kundra is her real life 'Raj'.

The couple celebrated their third wedding anniversary Thursday, and Shilpa, who is in Bangkok with their son Viaan Raj Kundra, took to Twitter to wish Raj a "happy anniversary".

"Wishing you happy anniversary Raj Kundra. My real life hero. (I) can't thank god enough for having you in my life. You are the best hubby. Love you," the 37-year-old tweeted.

Shilpa met Raj after she won British reality show "Big Brother" in 2007. They married in 2009.

The couple became proud parents of their first child, Viaan May 21.
