Women have a lot of responsibilities and they have to deal with not only professional but household responsibilities too. The Beti campaign has been lately highlighted by our prime minister Mr. Narendar Modi and hence we thought lets speak to the proud daughters in our telly land.

Surbhi Jyoti currently seen on Zee TV's Qubool Hai:

I feel lucky to be a daughter. I am proud of the fact that when boys of my age started searching for a job, I already had one. I feel women are the lifeline of the society. Every woman who is doing well in her life inspires me. Infact, look at it this way, boys are bound by norms of the society which say 'men don't fall weak, they do not cry.' Whereas, we are open to expressing our emotions by all means!

Yes, I am proud to be a daughter of my own parents and now my in-laws too. I think it is important for every woman to be independent and prove themselves worthy. I do not follow anyone in particular as my idol but I make sure I pick up the good points of every person's personality, be it a man or a woman and try being a good human being.

I have always been independent and will always be so. I think no one can multi task better than a woman.

I am very happy to be born a daughter and I hope I am born one in every birth! The greatest beauty of a woman is her power to give birth to a child. I am glad to see women progressing today and not being mere doormats. Women today have gained confidence, self-respect and proved themselves worthy of achieving whatever they want in this world!

Nia Sharma currently seen in Zee TV's Jamai Raja:

I am a proud being a girl as we have managed to excel in almost all the fields today. Talking about myself, I am self-sufficient financially as well as mentally and do not need to be dependent on others. To think of women being weak is a myth. We might appear to be weak or act dumb but that is something we project when we need to. In our head we know what to do and what not to and it is foolish of men to think that we are dumb.

Aditi Sajwan currently seen in SAB TV's Chidiya Ghar:

I believe a woman is the first nurturer and we call her mother. Our gender is very strong and I feel we as women are the only species who are equipped to maintain a fine balance between our household and professional life. It would be wrong to say that we do not need men. We need them to support and stand by us. A father takes care and protects you when in trouble. Me help us enhance the positivity in us and push us to do better in life. But yes, we are not completely dependent on them and this is what makes us the stronger sex.
