#PromoReview: 'Siddhi Vinayak' seems an apt COMEBACK for Neha Saxena

Actress Neha Saxena may recently have been in the news for alleged break-up with actor, Shakti Arora which was clarified later; but the actress is now all set to make a roaring comeback to fiction television after a gap of three years.

The actress is all set to play the lead in And TV's upcoming show, Siddhi Vinayak, which is the tale of a boy and a girl whose blossoming friendship was broken when they were little only to clash each other when they grow up.

Now having nothing but hatred for each other, the saga is about how this hatred will in fact be the birth of a new love story.

Two friends are enjoying themselves on the shore sailing their paper boats until their respective fathers arrive to separate them.

Cut to a generation later, we see the same duo now grown-up and walking in reverse (camera trick of course), looking at each other with rage, hatred and enmity.

That's when the voiceover tells us how this saga is about hatred becoming the first step to a never-seen-before love story.

The background score in the promo is absolutely spot on and the string tunes beautifully complement the darkness of the setting.

Neha Saxena looks more beautiful than ever and in a 30 second promo, she has two costume changes and shines in both.

The story and the backdrop appears as cliche as it sounds. Childhood love separated initially only to unite when they grow up after several hurdles- that's been the plotline of several Bollywood films and some TV shows too. I sincerely hope there is a freshness to it when the show is on-air.

The cinematography and direction couldn't have been more 'done-and-dusted.' The shot where the going friends are being separated by their fathers and camera zooms out and the shots where the grown-ups collide paths in reverse and in straight motion is so quintessential that you will be transported to the old Bollywood films immediately.

Having said the above points, Siddhi Vinayak seems an apt comeback for actress, Neha Saxena as she plays the lead role here and looks gorgeous too.

When it comes to Nitin Goswami, the actor looks convincing and we will have to see his true acting chops when the show is launched.
