Producer Mrinal Jha on her musical web-series, 'The Socho Project'

With multiple shows already having added to her name as success stories, producer Mrinal Jha has been dabbling with several new concepts and formats lately to keep it going.

Riding high on the success of Qubool Hai 2.0, Jha already has a lot to look forward to and one of them is The Socho Project, a musical web series. Not many know about this unique web series, and in an exclusive conversation with us, Jha shed some light on the same.

She said, "The Socho Project is a true blue musical web series - the first of its kind on any OTT platform with over 28 original songs in 9 episodes from 9 different characters with the songs forming the essence of the story. We have employed a whole new structure of writing for The Socho Project.  Each episode has a new title and follows a new theme and the story moves forward through the thematic structure.  Once the audience is invited into the show, one is sure to resonate with atleast one character, relating to their journey as if it were their own. Well, it would connect with fellow music artists for sure but also strike a chord with every ordinary individual who is on their journey to shatter the glass ceiling in their respective field of profession. I think it’s a beautiful show with absolutely unforgettable characters. "
