Priyanka Choudhary and Ankit Gupta have played their game in ‘Bigg Boss 16’ with utmost grace: Sargun Mehta

Two of the most talked about contestants from ‘Bigg Boss 16’ are Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta. The duo was the lead pair in Colors’ popular show ‘Udaariyaan’. After shooting with each other for a long time, they took a bold decision of being a part of the reality show. While it was an advantage for them, at few events it also turned out be a drawback. 

India Forums got in touch with the producer of the show Sargun Mehta and asked her about their stint in the show, Sargun quipped, “I’m extremely proud of both Ankit and Priyanka. Whenever people say that they saw them in ‘Udaariyaan’ too, we used to feel a sense of pride. The best part is that both Priyanka and Ankit both played the game with utmost sincerity, grace and dignity.”

Talking about her new show ‘Junooniyat’, Sargun said, “I understand that there’s a lot of expectation from the show and our team is working extremely hard to narrate a beautiful story and expecting that the audiences will accept the show with open arms”.

COLORS’ new fiction show 'Junooniyatt’ captures the journey of three aspiring and passionate singers. Based in Punjab, the show will star Ankit Gupta, Gautam Singh Vig and Neha Rana in the lead roles of Jahaan, Jordan and Elahi respectively.

The trio get into a music competition to fulfil their different dreams and it will be interesting to see if the show would make a mark in the hearts of the viewers while the first few episodes have received rave reviews.
