International sensation Priyanka Chopra has come a really long way on her career front. The actress has practically struggled to reach the high ground she stands on. Impressing her fans with her performances, public scrutiny never ends for the global star.
During a recent interview with Yahoo Life, Priyanka spoke about getting affected by the constant scrutiny over her body and how she deals with body image issues. The actress said that she’s gotten older just like everyone else’s body and she has learnt to accept her body for how it is.
I am growing older and naturally, my body will change. And it is with everyone. But I have accepted it and I am okay with the way it is looking now.

There have been many such instances when the actresses were judged for being fat or not in shape. Similar to her, several actresses like Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, and many others have been trolled for this but they hit back at trolls saying that this should end.
Priyanka was crowned Miss World in 2000, and she has done multiple Hollywood movies in the pipeline.
Now, she has talked about how finding a sense of confidence in what she brings to the table matters more to her than what she looks like.
The 38-year-old actress said that she doesn't have the body she used to have a couple of decades ago but the change is normal like everyone else's body. She pointed out, "Well, I won't lie that I don't get affected by it. My body has changed as I've got older, just as everyone's body does, and I've had to adapt mentally as well with like, OK, this is what it looks like now, this is what I look like now, it's alright, and catering to my now body and not my 10- or 20-years-ago body."
"I think that that's very crucial and I feel like that really takes finding a sense of confidence in what you bring to the table outside of what you look like...I try to be myopic about feeling good about other things, even on days that I don't feel the best about my body, and I work towards whatever makes me happy at that time," she continued.
The Sky is Pink actress revealed, "I just try to remind myself that I am loved and I feel good from the inside. I feel confident when I walk into a room and I try to remind myself that that has nothing to do with my body. Even though this culture gives credence to that, too much, maybe."
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra was last seen in Netflix's The White Tiger and she will be next seen in Text For You. Directed by Jim Strouse, the film also stars Sam Heughan, Celine Dion, Russell Tovey and Omid Djalili.
She also has an Indian wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling and Matrix 4 with Keanu Reeves followed by a film based on the life of Maa Anand Sheela in her kitty.
