Priyanka Chopra - "I recently met Varun Dhawan as we talked about the 'Citadel' universe"

The trailer of Citadel has been out for a while now and ever since, the same has been creating a buzz amongst everyone. Right from the fact that it has Indian global superstar Priyanka Chopra Jonas, it also has actor Richard Madden, who is extremely popular for his stint in Game of Thrones and The Eternals among other things.

The first media interaction of the series kicked off in Mumbai today and at the events Chopra Jonas was asked about how apart from this version from the west, there is an Indian version in the works starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu and if she has any advice for them.

To this, she said, "I recently met Varun at NMACC and we were talking about the Citadel universe. We were talking about how the loose threads will be connecting to each other. I don't think I can give any advice to Varun or Samantha Ruth Prabhu because they are such fine actors and they definitely don't need any advice. Plus, the Indian installment is being helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, who are just fine filmmakers and I am certain they are creating something fantastic with the same."

When it comes to other projects, Chopra Jonas will also be seen in the much-awaited project, Jee Le Zara where she will co-star Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif which also marks the return to direction for Farhan Akhtar. She will also be seen in the film, Love Again where she co-stars Sam Heughan and Celine Dion.
