Pratyusha, the perfect person to play Anandi?!

The latest fad among channels is to leave it upto to the viewer to choose the actor among a few nominated ones. Star One's Miley Jab Hum Tum did it for axing a character (Nupur aka Rati Pandey got the lowest votes and was removed from the show. However, later it turned out there was error with online polling system and Gunjan  aka Sanaya  Irani was the one who got the lowest votes. Goes to show the authenticity of online polls!). Colors' Balika Vadhu asked the viewers to vote for their choice of grown up Anandi. Three girls got nominated to fill in one of the most coveted spots in Indian Television - Pratyusha Banerjee, Nivedita Tiwari and Ketaki Chitale.

It seems people have been generous towards voting for Pratyusha Banerjee who hails from Jamshedpur, for our source says, "Pratyusha Banerjee is the lucky girl! She has already started shooting for Balika Vadhu in Jaipur."

The source adds, "The girl's performance is receiving a lot of positive feedback. Everyone on the sets is happy as she is doing complete justice to the role assigned to her."

A lot of hype was surrounding as to who will portray the grown up  Anandi; however things were not the same for Jagdish. Apparently, scouting was going on simultaneously for Jagdish's character and a lot of known names were approached to play this character.Tellybuzz got exclusive news that a fresh face from Ujjain has been rounded in to play Jagdish.
