Pratik Gandhi Vs Abhishek Bachchan; Scam 1992 actor calls it ‘Unfair’ comparison

Ever since Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘The Big Bull’ released, comparisons with Hansal Mehta’s web show ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’ starring Pratik Gandhi in the lead have constantly been rolling out.

After Abhishek and Hansal Mehta, actor Pratik Gandhi, who became an overnight sensation after the success of the show, has reacted to the comparisons. Calling it ‘unfair’, the actor told SpotboyE in an interview:

“I don’t think any two individuals especially artists can be or should be compared. As we are different human beings. The way we think, feel, emote is bound to be different. So there is no sense in any comparison. The two performances should be seen in reference to the script and the character requirement for the same.”

Further, Pratik also shares that he has not watched Abhishek’s Big Bull yet. He says is exciting to see a new take on the same story.

Both the projects, The Big Bull and Scam 1992 are based on the life of stock trader Harshad Mehta.

Meanwhile, speaking of future projects, Pratik Gandhi will be seen in a feature film with Taapsee Pannu. Titled ‘Woh Ladki Hai Kahan’, the film is being produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur. He has also bagged a web series with Tigmanshu Dhulia.
