Pratik Gandhi reveals being UNCOMFORTABLE kissing Vidya Balan in Do aur do pyaar: 'The way Vidya..'

Pratik Gandhi, who rose to fame with his portrayal of Harshad Mehta in Scam 1992, recently opened up on his kissing scene with Vidya Balan for Do aur do pyaar and revealed being initially 'uncomfortable' doing the same. Speaking about it to Lehren TV recently, Pratik recalled how he had suggested doing something else apart from the kissing scene to the director.

He said, ''I told the director, there are many ways to show one thing. You tell me, I can give you different options. If I can communicate through my eyes, then you see. But she was clear what she wanted, how she wanted.''

Further stating that he had never done a kissing scene onscreen before, Pratik revealed how Vidya Balan made him comfortable and manoeuvred the entire thing. ''I had never done any kissing scene before. But the way Vidya manoeuvred the whole thing, the way she made things so clear, so easy. Because as a senior actor, for me, it was only her who could make it or break it for me,'' Pratik adds.

For the uninformed, Do aur Do Pyaar released in the year 2024 and starred Pratik and Vidya in the titular roles. The film is based on the life of a couple who are unhappy in their 12 year long marriage and how they tend to get into extra marital affairs.
