Prateik Babbar reveals how Salman Khan inspired his single life plans

Prateik Babbar, known for his candidness about his personal struggles, recently opened up about his past relationships and how they influenced his outlook on love. The actor revealed that he once aspired to live a single life, much like his Sikandar co-star Salman Khan.

In a recent interview with a publication, Babbar shared that he had become disillusioned with love and relationships after a failed marriage and subsequent failed relationships. He had planned to embrace a carefree, single lifestyle, focusing solely on enjoying life.

"I was like, 'Shaadi toh bhul hi jao mujhe girlfriend bhi nahi chahiye, abhi baas zindagi mein masti karna hai, zindagi bhar masti, Salman Khan banna hai mujhe, literally that was my thought." (I didn't want to get married or have a girlfriend; I just wanted to enjoy life and be (single) like Salman Khan.)

The actor described his new perspective on love: "I believe in soulmates. I found mine. I believe in romance. I believe in all of them, but I didn't four years ago, but yes, cupid came and punctured my heart with an arrow."

However, his perspective shifted dramatically when he fell in love with his fiancée, Priya Banerjee. Babbar credits her for changing his outlook on love and relationships. He now believes in soulmates and expresses gratitude for finding his own.

The couple got engaged on November 26, 2023, and often share glimpses of their love story on social media.
