Prabhas' Fauji actress Imanvi comes under netizens' scanner after Pahalgam attacks; find out

Actress Imanvi who will be starring with Prabhas’ with Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauji has come under the scanner of netizens. As we know, the Government has again issued a directive on Pakistani artistes working in Indian films. Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor’s Abir Gulaal might not get a release in India as per Government sources. Actress Imanvi whose real name is Iman Esmail is under the scanner of social media. People have said that she has her roots in Pakistan, claiming that her father was a military officer while her mom is an Indian. She has been raised in the US, and was known as a choreographer in California.

The actress has put up a post saying that no one in her family is associated with the Pakistani Army. However, people have alleged that she had the Pakistan and Indian flag on her bio. The matter is also being discussed on Reddit. Some said that she is from the community of Ismaili Muslims, which is a part of the Shia sect. It is spread across the world, and in places of the Indian sub-continent. Imanvi has written that she is an Indian American and speaks Telugu, Gujarati, Hindi and English. But those who claim to see the Pak flag on her bio believe makers should drop her from the movie now.

Prabhas fans are urging makers to look for a new heroine for the project. We do not know what steps they will take. On Reddit, people even wrote that fans are being gas lighted to believe that Imanvi is just an Indian – American. People also questioned makers for controversial casting saying that she was not some extremely popular content creator in the States. Imanvi is from the US where Prabhas has a huge fan following.
