Portraying a character older than my actual age was a challenge: Nitesh Pandey of ‘What the Folks!' season 4

Dice Media brings back one of their oldest shows What The Folks! with a brand new season. The fourth and the final season has a lot in store for its fans who have been eagerly waiting for a new season to drop soon. With the story focusing on the Sharma family this time, Dice Media reveals a new addition to the cast of the series.

Nitesh Pandey joins the bandwagon of What The Folks family and will be seen stepping in as the new daddy cool to Eisha Chopra (Anita) and Anula Navlekar (Akshata). Prakash Sharma’s character was previously essayed by Vipin Sharma. Nitesh Pandey who has been in the industry for over quite some time now has charmed us with his stellar performances in films such as  ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’, ‘Om Shanti Om’, and not to miss his successful television serials ‘Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani’, ‘Pyaar Ka Dard' and was last seen in ‘India Wali Maa’ that aired on Sony TV.

“Having worked in the film and television industry over the past 2 decades, this was a completely refreshing experience. Portraying a character older than my actual age was a challenge in itself but the co-actors and the whole team at Dice Media made it seem like a cakewalk. In this season, the parents are seen hustling between two major life decisions their kids are about to take and I wanted to make sure to give it my best to live up the character. I have tried something new this time and I hope my fans like it.’’, says Nitesh Pandey.

“What The Folks!’’ is a drama-comedy about Nikhil and Anita, a married couple and their amusing experiences and heartwarming moments with their in-laws, the Sharmas and the Solankis. In the final season, the Sharma family returns and the story is set around Nikhil, Anita and the Sharmas preparing for Akshata’s (Anula’s) wedding.
