POLICE CASE registered against Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan has been booked for allegedly "rioting" and "damaging" railway property at Kota Railway station during the promotion of his recently released film 'Raees'. A Government Railway Police official has confirmed.

The railway court that heard the plea of a vendor at Kota railway station and then ordered the GRP to register the case against the superstar.
In the complaint filed by Vikram Singh, he has alleged that on January 23, when SRKarrived at the Kota railway station to promote his film 'Raees', a lot commotion was created by his fans in who turned up in huge numbers. He further alleged that Shah Rukh threw something at the public while standing at the gate of his coach of August Kranti Rajdhani Express train and to grab those things his fans rushed causing his trolley to fall over. The items on it were damaged and he also suffered injuries.

Based on the complaint of the vendor, the case against Shah Rukh Khan was registered under sections 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of Rs 50), 120(b) (criminal conspiracy), 147 (rioting), 149 (every member of unlawful assembly guilty of offence committed) and 160 (committing affray) of IPC. Under sections 145 (nuisance) and 146 (obstructing railway servant in his duties) of Railway Act, and section 3 (mischief causing damage to public property0 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.

Police have started with their investigation and will soon come up with their conclusion.
