Pink Movie Fame Kirti Kulhari Takes a 21-Day Social Media Break: ‘See You All On The Other Side’

Actress Kirti Kulhari, famous for her role in Four More Shots Please!, Pink and Mission Mangal recently announced that she is taking a break from social media for 21 days. She shared this news with her followers on Instagram, saying she’ll be “on the other side” after her detox. Kirti, who has a strong Instagram following of 1.3 million, has been regularly sharing updates from her personal and professional life, including festive Diwali pictures just three days ago.

In her Monday evening Instagram post, Kirti wrote, “Going on a 21 day social media detox. See you all on the other side," adding only a red heart emoji without explaining her reason. Fans quickly responded, sending love and support her way. While some were curious about her decision, others were simply thrilled, with one fan commenting, “Superb!” and another saying, “A perfect decision, have fun.” One comment even encouraged her, saying, “It’s an easy process, go ahead!”

In a previous interview with the Indian Express, Kirti expressed her wish to work with directors who see beyond her serious roles. She explained, “People think serious actors can only do intense roles, but that’s not true. Good actors often get typecast in serious roles, but I believe we’re capable of comedy too. Once we shed this label, we can explore much more.”

Kirti Kulhari has been lauded for her acting in films like Pink, Indu Sarkar, Uri: The Surgical Strike, Mission Mangal, and in popular web series like Criminal Justice and Human. Her last project was Khichdi: Mission Panthukistan, where she reprised her role as Parminder from Khichdi: The Movie (2010).
