People should give sufficient amount of time to personal life, family and friends: Saanand Verma

Actor Saanand Verma who is seen in TV show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain and has done prominent web series like Apharan Sabka Katega and Sacred Games and films like Pataakha, Raid, Chichhore, Helmet. He stated that he loves monsoon.

"I enjoy the rainy season the most. Rainy season is my favourite because it is very romantic and you really want to eat a lot of delicious snacks like tea with pakoda," he said. He also loves the winter season. "You get to do a lot of styling during this season. There are lots of different kinds of jackets, coats, scarfs, mufflers and caps. You can enjoy hot beverages like hot coffee and tea. So this is an amazing season," he said.

"Winter is even more enjoyable for an actor like me because I keep travelling across the world and as you know, Mumbai is not known for the winter season," he added. He recalled the time when he was in Belgrade shooting for Apaharan 2. "The weather was super cool and I used to enjoy a lot of hot beverages. I bought too many jackets and warm clothing from Belgrade. So I shopped and enjoyed the weather to the fullest because I hardly get to experience cold weather in my own city. Winter season is even more important, more valuable and enjoyable because in my own city I don't get to enjoy it," he said.

Leh, Ladakh is his favourite destination during winter season. "It is amazingly cool and nice. Culturally, it is very rich and looks very good. The kind of ambience that we get to witness, those monasteries, the Buddhism followers and the calmness and the kind of food they offer... I was there when I was shooting an Ad Film with Badhaai Ho fame filmmaker- Amit Sharma, and I loved to go to that place again and again because it is amazing," he said.

He agrees that people in showbiz don't get long holidays. "As far as I'm concerned I'm always in a mood for holidays because I enjoy my work too much. And when I work I actually feel like it is a holiday because working, shooting and acting are the most enjoyable things for me. So I do not miss that kind of thing because I have a different kind of approach towards my work and at the same time I would like to rehydrate like that. Work-life balance is also important and people should definitely manage their time smartly and give sufficient amount of time to personal life, family and friends," he said.

His favourite getaway is Goa. "I truly love the beaches in Goa and I want to go there again and again. Actually, I love the sea," he shared.
