People have started recognising me as Shubham from 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' - Gaurav Wadhwa

Gaurav Wadhwa, who is a part of Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is thrilled to be a part of the show. The actor says that he has received a great response for his character. "By the grace of God, I am getting so much positive feedback for my character in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. This character has so many shades and I get to showcase a variety of emotions as Shubham," he says.

Gaurav says that he loves being part of a hit show. "Everywhere I go, people are recognising me as Shubham from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and that is an achievement in itself. This is a big show and has such a talented cast and crew that I have been getting to learn a lot from them," he says.

Ask him who are his favorite co-actors and he is quick to say," Mohena Singh and Rishi Dev are my buddies on set. We share a great bond on set and otherwise as well. We love each other's company."

Shooting for the show is fun and Gaurav often encounters many interesting experiences on the set. "My scene, where I was going to commit suicide was very interesting. I was wearing a harness for the first time and I was at a height. Since, I am afraid of heights, it was a bit tough for me. But my directors supported me and gave me the courage to do it. The scene came out really well," quips the actor as he signs off.
