Pandya Store's Shiny Doshi: The track quite intense and as an actor, emotional scenes are quite draining

Shiny Doshi aka Dhara from Pandya Store has been receiving ehaps of praises for her work in the show. While the track has been rather intense, it isn't easy to portray such scenes on screen as it might get to you at some time. She spoke to India Forums about dealing with emotionally intense scenes and how does she work through it.

She said, ''The track is going quite intense in the show, and as an actor, emotional scenes are quite draining because you have to feel it and put yourself in the situation while acting. It so happens that when I am doing a particular scene, and I read the script once and keep in mind the important things and then I say it according to me, I don't explicitly stick to the lines.''

Further, she added, ''When you do emotional scenes, there's a lot of crying happening, you go breathless, especially the ongoing bit that is happening where Shara has a meltdown when Maa tries to commit suicide because Dhara can't give the family grandchildren, and that's where Dhara takes too much to her heart and feels it happened because of her. She has been trying, of course, Dhara and Gautam did not want kids 10 years ago because the brothers were young.''

She further spoke on the same and said, ''So now that they have grown in the show, so the couple is not so old that they can't have children, but after all this time, because of the contraceptive pills all these years, it has become difficult for her to conceive now. So yes, that is where Dhara breaks down and removes all her frustrations because she has heard everyone's taunts all these years and that never bothered her but Maa doing what she did, did hurt her.''
