Onima Kashyap who has shot for more than 200 commercials with the biggest superstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Anushka Sharma will make her OTT debut with comedy king, Zakir Khan. She is paired opposite Zakir in Amazon Prime's 'Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare season 2' where she will be seen romancing him. Onima also featured in Salim - Sulaiman's music video trilogy earlier.

"I am playing Tanvi in the series who is a modern independent girl who hails from Indore, she is vocal, a fighter who cannot stand injustice. The characteristic of Tanvi is similar to what I am in real life. I got to learn a lot on the set since in long formats an actor can have their own space to showcase a different range of emotions. I have evolved as an actor. I worked on my character by building a back story. I am happy for the fact that I got such an amazing debut with Amazon Prime opposite one of the most loved people, Zakir Khan," says Onima.

Taking about working with Zakir, she says, "He is one of the most loved comedians in India and I was really excited when I got the part. It was very easy to work with him, we used to have a lot of fun on the set. In high-speed shots where we just had to laugh". If I had to pick one incident with Zakir which would also be most memorable was of a crying scene we had and that was difficult to do with Zakir since he is a positive and happy person," she says.

Ask her what is a good show or series she says, "I feel the show should be relevant enough to cater to the masses. The characters should be built in a way that people should relate to them. My future plan is to act and this is just a stepping stone to betterment," she sums up.
