Rangoon shooting paused as actor Shahid Kapoor gets injured while shooting for the film.

Shahid Kapoor got  himself injured  while shooting for his upcoming film 'Rangoon'. The actor seems to be working really hard in giving a perfect shot and authenticity to its scenes.

However, with Shahid getting injured, the film's shooting has come to a halt for a while.

Reports suggest that, Shahid Kapoor and a Japanese actor were injured while shooting for a fight scene for the film.

Director of the movie, Vishal Bhardwaj was quoted by a leading daily, "The Japanese actor was hurt in the chest and rushed to the hospital. X-rays revealed a slight inflammation and he has been advised rest. But he's an energetic fighter and will be up and running soon." [sic]

He further added, "Shahid too has hurt his finger and suffered from fever after being drenched in rain for over six hours. We were hoping he'd be back today but I've just got a call from his doctor informing me that his temperature is still high and he won't be able to resume work."

Kapoor plays an Indian army officer in the movie. Earlier a noted British actor, Richard McCabe,shot for 'Rangoon' for around 10 days before returning to London. "He has been diagnosed with pneumonia but is recovering and will be back soon," added Vishal. [sic]

The film is set during the Second World War and also has Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan. It is expected to hit the theaters on 14th October, 2016.
