Om Puri's Postmortem report: Details below

Veteran actor Om Puri left for heavenly abode on January 6. The actor got a massive heart attack early morning at his residence.

His body was then taken to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem. Though the actor had a natural death there were injury marks on his forehead. Following which it took a lot of time for the doctors to conduct the post-mortem.

After hours of investigating and conducting the autopsy, the doctors concluded that it was a natural death and the injury marks had been there because he fell off from his bed when he got the attack.

The body was then handed over to his family who performed the last rites at Oshiwara crematorium.
