NOT Dheeraj Dhoopar but Rahul Sharma to enter 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' as Abhira's new man

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starring Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit recently took a 7 year leap, post which, the current dynamics between the characters have massively changed. While Abhira and Armaan have now gone their separate ways, there is a new woman in Armaan's life, which has been giving rise to the viewers' curiosity.

Well, not just Armaan, there will be a new man in Abhira's life as well. For quite some time now, Dheeraj Dhoopar's entry in the show as the new man in Abhira's life has been doing rounds. However, a fresh report now suggests that Dheeraj will not be a part of the show and that instead of the Kundali Bhagya fame, actor Rahul Sharma will be entering the show to essay the character of Abhira's new love interest.

Rahul is known for his stint in shows like Kaal Bhairav Ek Rahasya, Mitegi Lakshman Rekha and more. India Forums had exclusively reported earlier about actress Ruheen Ali essaying the character of Armaan's love interest in the show.

In the current track of the show, Abhira and Armaan have separated following a misunderstanding. While Armaan has now been taking care of his daughter Pookie along with Geetanjali, the new woman in his life, Abhira, Kaveri and Vidya, away from the Poddars, have started a new life. Abhira has been pursuing her dreams and is working as a lawyer.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is in its fourth generation and is currently headlined by Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit. The recent leap in the show also marked the exit of Garvita Sadhwani who essayed the character of Ruhi, initially the negative lead. The show is produced by Rajan Shahi under the banner of DKP productions.
