Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira impresses Anshuman in their very first conversation

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode opens with Abhira visiting the police station, seeking answers about Pookie's whereabouts. When the inspector offers her a glass of water, she refuses and insists on knowing where her daughter is. The inspector silently hands her Pookie's chain. The moment Abhira sees it, her emotions overflow. Struggling to control herself, she questions the inspector about what really happened. He informs her that the thief handed Pookie over to someone else. Upon hearing this, Abhira's frustration grows, and she expresses her intent to confront the thief directly. However, the inspector urges her to stay calm and not act impulsively.

On the other side, Kaveri and Vidya are shown nervously presenting their pitch in front of a panel of judges. Their uneasiness is visible, and things don't go as planned. Ayushman, disappointed by their performance, reprimands them for wasting his time and harshly asks them to leave, stating that there are other successful entrepreneurs waiting for their turn. Both women leave disheartened and shaken by the harsh feedback.

Back at the police station, Abhira is still distraught but makes a firm promise to herself that she will not rest until she finds Pookie. She vows that whoever is responsible for taking her daughter away will not go unpunished.

Meanwhile, Armaan reflects on Maira's recent behaviour. He is puzzled over the fact that she chose to open up to Geetanjali rather than him. Maira admits her mistake and says sorry to Armaan. It is then revealed that Maira had broken a teacher's scooty mirror, which is why she had avoided going to school. Armaan asks her why she didn't confide in him first. Maira, unsure, simply says that she ended up talking to Geetanjali without really thinking about it. Dadu steps in to offer a gentle perspective, and he tells Armaan that as Maira grows up, she'll need a maternal presence. A father cannot always fill that void. He reminds Armaan of Kaveri's words: both a mother and a father are essential in a child's life.

Later, Vidya and Kaveri inquire about Pookie's situation. Abhira, still deeply affected, reaffirms her determination to reunite with her daughter. She also comes to know about Kaveri and Vidya's failure in securing the deal with Ayushman. Wanting to help, Abhira takes a shot at impressing Ayushman with her own presentation, and this time, he is genuinely impressed by her confidence and clarity.

The trio, Abhira, Kaveri, and Vidya, then prepare to attend Krish's engagement ceremony. During the preparations, Kaveri expresses her wish to wear a designer sari, which doesn't sit well with Vidya and Abhira. However, Abhira encourages them all to go to the event despite the disagreement. Meanwhile, Vidya receives a letter and quietly decides to hand it over to Abhira later.

As they get ready, Abhira picks out purple-themed saris for Kaveri and Vidya. Kaveri notices that Abhira doesn't choose a purple sari for herself and comments on it. Abhira casually makes an excuse and opts to wear a black sari instead. This small gesture touches Kaveri, and she feels a wave of sympathy for Abhira.

In the precap, at Krish's engagement function, tensions flare. Krish speaks rudely to Kaveri, prompting Abhira to step in. She firmly warns him to stop, reminding him that they are there to celebrate his big day. In response, Krish loses his temper and hurls cruel accusations at Abhira, blaming her for failing in every role, whether as a mother, a wife, or a businesswoman. Kaveri, unable to tolerate his harsh words any longer, slaps Krish across the face, leaving Abhira in complete shock.
