Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Anshuman grows suspicious of Poddars after spotting Abhira eating street food

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Krish makes up his mind to introduce Tanya and Anshuman to his circle of friends. Just then, Manisha intervenes and takes charge, choosing instead to introduce the family to the two. She speaks about Kaveri, Vidya, and Abhira during the interaction. Kajal adds that Abhira holds a special place as the daughter of the household. A warm conversation follows between Tanya and Kajal, which doesn't go unnoticed by Krish and leaves him unsettled.

Vidya later approaches Anshuman, requesting him to give their team another shot at presenting their business pitch. However, Anshuman politely makes it clear that he doesn't mix personal relationships with his professional decisions.

Meanwhile, Maira insists Armaan play with her. To keep him from getting bored, she switches on the television to divert his attention. Armaan, however, tells her he can sense her presence just by feeling her heartbeat. Amused, Maira challenges him to a game of hide and seek.

Back at the function, Krish suggests taking engagement pictures with Tanya. He proposes they start with individual portraits, to which Tanya agrees. Krish volunteers to go first. Kajal tries to get Kaveri to join them for a family photo, but Kaveri declines the invitation. Manoj expresses sadness that without Kaveri, Vidya, and Abhira, their family feels incomplete. When Krish sees the trio arriving, he becomes visibly agitated.

Armaan continues spending time with Maira, but soon stumbles upon the news of Krish's engagement. Tanya then asks everyone to smile and enjoy the occasion, reminding them it's a happy day. Armaan spots Abhira at the event and is left feeling hurt, assuming she's moved on and that the Poddars never truly appreciated him. He believes even Abhira saw him as nothing more than a temporary phase.

Elsewhere, Anshuman discovers that Abhira selflessly fights legal battles for underprivileged people without charging them a single rupee. He is touched by her compassion. Krish, however, lashes out at Kaveri, Vidya, and Abhira for their presence and accuses them of making desperate attempts to pitch their startup idea. He targets Abhira specifically, blaming her for their struggles. Abhira calmly clarifies that they came solely to bless him, not for any ulterior motive.

The situation escalates as Krish cruelly accuses Abhira of failing in every role, be it a mother, a wife, or a daughter-in-law. Kaveri, unable to bear the insult, slaps Krish across the face. Vidya breaks down and blames herself for Abhira's pain, feeling like she's ruined her daughter-in-law's life. Abhira comforts both Kaveri and Vidya, urging them not to dwell on guilt. She tells them that she's survived far worse and wouldn't have made it through without their constant support.

To lift Vidya's spirits, Abhira and Kaveri decide to treat her to some extra-butter pav bhaji from a street stall. As the three enjoy their time together, Anshuman observes the emotional moment from a distance and grows concerned seeing them eating by the roadside instead of being part of their grand family function. Later, Maira approaches Armaan with a request, she wants his permission to take part in an intercity dance competition alongside Geetanjali. Though Armaan gives his consent, he remains cold toward Abhira, believing she is content without him in her life.

In the precap, Anshuman expresses his wish to hold Abhira's hand, leaving her stunned. Kaveri and Vidya appear to be warming up to the idea of him being a suitable match for her. Meanwhile, Maira informs Armaan that she's been selected for the finale round of the dance competition in Udaipur. However, Armaan flatly refuses to accompany her. Maira stands her ground and insists. Armaan then realizes that a return to Udaipur might be inevitable. On the other hand, Abhira senses a ray of hope, feeling that happiness may soon return to her life.
