Not an arranged marriage but a marriage for an arrangement!

Although Raman & Ishita detest each other, their coming together may be the only way that Ruhi can get a complete family, making Raman's case stronger and giving Ishita a chance at motherhood. Can the common love for a child be enough to keep two people bound in a lifelong relationship? What if Ishita & Raman still lose Ruhi's custody to Shagun? Despite all these questions lingering unanswered, these two individuals have taken this huge decision.
While viewers will follow Raman & Ishita's journey in an unusual arranged marriage, for the first time they will also get to experience a north-south wedding in its true sense. This will be even more enjoyable with the inimitable repartee between the Bhallas & the Iyers coloring the proceedings. The wedding will have an amalgam of both, traditional Tamilian & Punjabi rituals. Great measures have been taken to ensure that the look of the actors is authentic to the regions they represent and make the whole affair larger-than-life.
Producer Ekta Kapoor says, "I am very excited about the upcoming wedding between Raman & Ishita as it is the first North-South confluence on TV. We have tried to maintain the authenticity of the wedding rituals depicted in Ye Hai Mohabbatein. The viewers will certainly be in for a treat as they witness this unique wedding on television that will have the best of both the worlds! The story moves to a crucial juncture with Ruhi's custody and life post-marriage for Ishita-Raman."
Stay tuned as Raman and Ishita discover their relationship while they fight for Ruhi's custody. Ye Hai Mohabbatein airs every Monday to Saturday at 11 pm only on Star Plus!
