As we all know, CM of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray went on to address rumors of having an apparent lockdown earlier today. And it is indeed one of the most perplexing things as he said that there won't be lockdown but strict restrictions continue and a lot of things won't be functioning.

He announced the restrictions as per which section 144 will be imposed across the state. He has clearly stated that no one should step out of the house unless it is an emergency. This means that there will also be no shooting for the next 15 days.

Talking about it to ETimes, FWICE chairman J D Majethia said, "As of now we are going to abide by the restriction, but very soon we will approach them again. We are with him on this and we are going to go through the order fully once. The last time when he had announced the lockdown, we had a word with him and he understood our position. We consider ourselves as frontline workers as we provide entertainment to people who are sitting at home. We make people happy who are dealing with various issues, depression, frustration and bring a smile on their face. We also have daily workers who earn on per day basis so like how the CM has allowed construction workers, we want him to give us a little exception. As of now we are standing with him and after a day or two we will approach him and see what the conclusion will be. We will try to chalk out a plan how we can follow the guidelines with all security and if we can still shoot, we will make a bio bubble and then approach him."

Not a single show is interesting and entertaining in ITV and this guy says we are spreading happiness LMAO. Nahi chahiye tumhara happiness quotient. Idhar Starplus, Zee, Colors ke aadhe se zyaada shows logo ko depression pe bhej dete hai aur in logo apni so called 'Mu miya mithu' ness se phursat hi nahi hai. I totally support this Shootstop 2.0. Health is much more important than this so called 'frontline job' he is talking about. He should first google the word first before uttering bullshit !!!!

Lol tv actors r frontline workers😝seriously? 99% serials dekh kar audience ko depression jarur aa jaata hain. Itne pathetic content hote hain serials k. Rahi baat workers ki CINTAA should provide monthly salary to them.

Shift the shooting to other locations. That’s the only way to create a real bio bubble. There are people whose livelihood depends on entertainment shoots. The virus is not lethal to majority of the populace but lack of money definitely would be to the poor.

While i definitely DO NOT consider television a Frontline job.. ( sorry theres no comparison with food workers, health workers, sanitation, etc.. ). I do understand so many crew members earnings are daily wages on tv show productions so i really hope something us figured out for them and their families. But thislockdown is needed. The cases are too high and even industry professionals are testing positive left and right. If you leave thinfs the way they are, the entertainment itself will be at a loss if there are no stars to fill those roles.
