As we all know, CM of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray went on to address rumors of having an apparent lockdown earlier today. And it is indeed one of the most perplexing things as he said that there won't be lockdown but strict restrictions continue and a lot of things won't be functioning.
He announced the restrictions as per which section 144 will be imposed across the state. He has clearly stated that no one should step out of the house unless it is an emergency. This means that there will also be no shooting for the next 15 days.
Talking about it to ETimes, FWICE chairman J D Majethia said, "As of now we are going to abide by the restriction, but very soon we will approach them again. We are with him on this and we are going to go through the order fully once. The last time when he had announced the lockdown, we had a word with him and he understood our position. We consider ourselves as frontline workers as we provide entertainment to people who are sitting at home. We make people happy who are dealing with various issues, depression, frustration and bring a smile on their face. We also have daily workers who earn on per day basis so like how the CM has allowed construction workers, we want him to give us a little exception. As of now we are standing with him and after a day or two we will approach him and see what the conclusion will be. We will try to chalk out a plan how we can follow the guidelines with all security and if we can still shoot, we will make a bio bubble and then approach him."
