No birthday bash for Ayaz Ahmed please!

Telly town actor Ayaz Ahmed, who is being much appreciated for his rugged character Raghu in Life OK's Do Dil Ek Jaan is not a big fan of glitzy ceremonies and extravagant celebrations.

As the actor turned a year older yesterday, he chose to keep his birthday a low key affair. When asked Ayaz about his birthday ritual, he says, "Birthdays are not special to me. Right from my childhood, I've never been excited for my birthday."

The actor also went on to say, "There is no back-story or a heart-breaking incident that occurred in the past for not celebrating my birthday. It's just that I cannot handle too many people around and the attention they bring in. So I prefer to keep my cell-switched off on my birthday and stay away from all the sudden attention and the greetings."

As the dedicated actor always prefers to work on his birthday, he did not even take a break from his shooting schedule. His co-actor Nikita Sharma says, "Usually, there is a high degree of anticipation with everyone for their birthdays. But Ayaz is completely a different personality. When I called him at night to wish him, he sounded so unexciting and instead talked about our next day's shooting schedule."

The very talented actor missed his family on his special occasion. "Like I said, I don't take pleasure in celebrating my birthday, yet I miss my family and the special Biryani my Mom used to make for me. Each year on this day, I rather prefer to splurge some money to distribute beneficiaries to a group of 40-50 poor people. And this time since I'm occupied with work, I'm sure my family would have done the needful on my behalf."

Nevertheless, Ayaz is grateful for all the greetings and gesture his fans have shown towards him. "When your fans shower so much of endless love on you and surprise you with so many presents, cakes and celebration, you obviously feel pampered and happy. And I will always try my best to work more competently and never disappoint my fans and audience", concluded the handsome actor.
