Netflix being one of the leading OTT platforms around the world, has also made its mark in the Indian market. After launching some intriguing original series' and movies like Sacred Games, Ghoul, Lust Stories, Delhi Crimes and Selection Day, Netflix India is once again gearing up for another web series titled Bard Of Blood, starring Emraan Hashmi, Kirti Kulharim Sobhita Dhulipalia and Vineet Kumar Singh. It is a spy series, co-produced by Shahrukh Khan's production house Red Chillies Entertainment.

On Saturday, Netflix unveiled the first motion picture of the upcoming series. The poster features Emraan Hashmi covered in red smoke. Have a look at the poster :

Bard of Blood will be an eight episode long series, based on the novel of debutant author Bilal Siddiqui. The series will mark the journey of an expelled spy, Kabir Anand, who leaves his new life as a Shakespeare professor in Panchgani, to save his country from terrorism. 

Apart from Bard of Blood, Netflix recently released Huma Qureshi starrer Leila, which was critically acclaimed for its unique and intense concept. Also, the platform announced a new series titled Rakkosh, which will be India’s first point of view film.
