Neil and Avni bid a tearful GOODBYE to their fans!

Star Plus launched their Mahesh Bhatt venture Naamkarann two years back with much pomp and show. Back then, the show that starred Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Viraf Patel, Arsheen Naamdar and the late Reema Lagoo in the lead roles, focussed on the subject matter of a surname.

The show, which received a lot of appreciation from the viewers, amassed a huge fan base pretty quickly. It first focused on the life of the protagonist Avni (Arsheen Naamdar) as a 10 year old child and then took a leap where the grown up Avni (Aditi Rathore) was introduced.

And this year, the show took its final leap which focussed on Avni running an orphanage where she taught the kids her life lesson - that one should strive to make their own identity rather than depending on a surname.

While this sums up the story of Avni, Naamkarann is all set to shut shop on the 18th of this month. The lead pair Neil and Avni had something to say to their fans-
