Neha Sargam and Kajol Srivastav in contemplation to bag the role of Yashoda in Sony TV show ‘Baal Krishna’?

Sources have it that renowned production house Contiloe Entertainment which has given many popular historical and mythological shows is set to bring yet another mythological show most probably for Sony TV. The show is said to be based on Lord Krishna and Yashodha’s relationship.

India Forums exclusively reported that actor Rahul Sharma of ‘Ek Ghar Banauga’ fame was in talks to play the character of Nand in the show tentatively titled ‘Baal Krishna’. The development is that Rahul has bagged the show and has signed the dotted lines. As per reports actor Dinesh Mehta will be seen essaying the role of Lord Shiva in the show.

Now, the latest buzz is that actress Neha Sargam and Kajol Srivastava are in contemplation to play the character of Yashoda in the show. A source close to the project revealed, “Well, Neha and Kajol have auditioned for the character and it’s a close call for the makers to take. Official announcement of the same is expected soon”.

Neha has been a part of mythological shows like Zee TV’s Ramayan and &TV’s Paramavtaar Shri Krishna while Kajol too has been a part of such projects as she played pivotal characters in shows like ‘RadhaKrishna’ and ‘Karm Phal Daata: Shani’.

While both the actresses have an exposure for mythological shows and costume drama, it will be interesting to see who bags the role. Kajol is known for her stint in shows like ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ and ‘Chakravartin Ashok Samrat’. Neha have entertained the viewers with her performances in popular projects like ‘Chaand Chupa Badal Mein’ and ‘Haar Jeet’ among others.
