Neetu Kapoor: Ranbir misses his dad a lot; his mobile screensaver still has Rishi’s photo

The Kapoor family has been in the spotlight for the past days because of obvious reasons. As we know, Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot with his ladylove Alia Bhatt on April 14th in an intimate ceremony with close friends and family members being a part of their wedding rituals. Someone who was immensely missed throughout the wedding festivities was late actor Rishi Kapoor. 

Actor Rishi Kapoor passed away in April 2020, about two years after being diagnosed with cancer. Rishi, one of India's most celebrated actors, was detected with leukaemia in 2018 and relocated to New York for treatment. 

In a new interview, his wife Neetu Kapoor paid tribute to him and revealed how much their son Ranbir Kapoor misses his father. In an interview with News 18, Neetu expressed,

"Ranbir misses him a lot. His mobile screensaver still has Rishi’s photo. There are days when I see tears in his eyes but he stays strong." 

She also mentioned, 

"Rishi had a larger than life persona and he is not the kind of person who can be forgotten. Every day I meet someone who has some story or an incident about him. I feel somehow, somewhere, he is still connected to me."

Neetu is back on the big screen as a judge on Dance Deewane Juniors, a children's dance reality show. She will also appear on screen for the first time in nearly a decade with the film Jug Jugg Jeeyo alongside Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Anil Kapoor.
