NDTV Imagine's Dehleez on crossroads...

Siddhant Cinevision's new venture, Dehleez on NDTV Imagine which focuses on a married girl crossing the norms set by society and seeking a job for herself to support her family, has not been accepted well by the audience, and if their numbers do not show a drastic rise, the show will certainly meet its end, post IPL.

As per our informer, "Ever since its launch, the show has not gotten good TRPs, and the channel is concerned about it".

There are other factors too. "The main leads Bhuvnesh Mann and Preeti Bindwani are not able to deliver as per the expectations of both the production house and the channel. They are not so good when it comes to acting. Due to this, the team is facing big time problem as all time gets consumed with the number of retakes they both take", quips the source.

"Initially there was no chemistry between the two. Today there is a lot of closeness between them which is also in a way hampering the shoot", adds the source.

So what lies in future for Dehleez? "The show will pull on till IPL draws to a close. Till then the creative team will try their best to bring some changes in the storyline so that it appeals to the viewers", concludes the source.

We tried contacting Producer Manish Goswami, but he was unavailable for comments.

We sent a text message to Shailja Kejriwal, Exec VP Content, NDTV Imagine, but she too did not reply.
