Nayanthara Addresses and Dismisses Cosmetic Surgery Speculations

Actress Nayanthara recently addressed ongoing rumours about her undergoing cosmetic surgery. She denied the claims, explaining that changes in her appearance are due to natural factors like weight fluctuations and dietary habits. After her successful Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan, fans and netizens have been circulating her older photos, leading to speculation that she may have altered her features through surgery. However, Nayanthara firmly dismissed these rumours in a recent interview.

In her interview with Hautterfly, Nayanthara shared her love for experimenting with different eyebrow shapes, which she believes can significantly impact facial appearance. She mentioned, “I love doing my brows. I take the time to perfect it because it’s the real game changer. I’ve had different brow faces over the years. Maybe that’s why people think my face is changing, and I keep looking different.” Her changing eyebrow styles, she noted, might be one reason people think she’s had cosmetic work done.

She addressed allegations that she has had procedures to sharpen her features and even liposuction to slim down. Nayanthara shared how her face changes as her weight fluctuates, explaining, “Maybe that’s why a lot of people think that I’ve done something to my face. But, that’s not true. On record, not true. It’s not that it’s wrong, but for me, it has just been diet.”

For Nayanthara, any alterations in her facial appearance result from natural changes. “There’s been a lot of weight fluctuation, and my cheeks go in and out,” she said. “You can pinch me, burn me, and you’ll know there’s no plastic in here,” she added, clarifying once again that she has not undergone any cosmetic surgery.

Nayanthara first entered the industry with the 2003 Malayalam film Manassinakkare. Since then, her remarkable talent has made her one of the top actresses in South Indian cinema. She is currently filming Dear Students with co-star Nivin Pauly.
