New Delhi, Sep 12 (IANS) Putting behind the failure of his directorial debut 'Kyun! Ho Gaya Na', Samir Karnik makes a comeback with 'Nanhe Jaisalmer' that releases Friday.
But there is a brighter side to Nanhe's life and that is his friend Bobby Deol, an actor. He once appeared briefly in a shot with Bobby and have since been friends. In fact, Bobby is the only friend Nanhe has and he draws influences from the actor.
As he grows up, Bobby continues to influence his thoughts and actions. His joy knows no bounds when he hears that Bobby is coming to Jaisalmer for a film shoot.
After Bobby's arrival, Nanhe's life changes. He finds someone with whom he can share his problems and Bobby too hears him out patiently. He tries to help the boy overcome his difficulties and obstacles by guiding him and giving him valuable advice.
Bobby's suggestions turn out to be words of wisdom for the young boy. Eventually, Nanhe gains confidence and finds himself ready to face the world.
'Nanhe Jaisalmer' was extensively shot in Rajasthan and captures the ethnic vibrancy of rural India. The film has a novel concept and, going by recent trends, audiences should enjoy it.
This is Bobby's fourth release of the year after 'Naqaab: Disguised Intentions', 'Apne' and 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom'. Of the three, only 'Apne' enjoyed a good run at the box office.ALSO READ: Salman Khan has a 10-minute elaborate entry sequence in 'Tiger 3'
