Namkarann to go OFF-AIR?

Star Plus' show Naamkarann has been a fan favourite for quite some time now. Fans have enjoyed watching Avni and Neil's chemistry and their many dramatic ups and downs. However, we now hear that the show will be wrapping up. 

The show had taken a leap very recently and we saw a bunch of fresh changes made to the plot. Avni and Neil kept giving us something new as they kept us enthralled. But, in spite of this, their TRPs have been falling. We also have to factor in the changes in the channel as it makes way for Saurabh Tiwari's upcoming project tentatively titled, Kanhaiya Chale London.

We got in touch with Shruti Ulfat who plays the role of Neil's mother on the show and she said, "I don't know of this development since I'm still shooting for the show. The makers haven't informed us about the show going off-air."

We tried getting in touch with Aditi Rathore, Zain Imam and the producer but couldn't get through for a comment.
