Nakuul Mehta, who rose to fame with Star Plus' Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara... has earned a new feather in his cap. Last night, he received 'The Pride of India- Actor of the year 2018' award for excellence in the field of acting.

He took to instagram to share his moment of joy with his friends and fans.

He shared a picture of him from the event, proudly holding the award in his hand along with a charming smile, he captioned it 'Elated to wrap my hands around the 'The PRIDE of India - Actor of the Year, 2018' award by the World Consulting & Research Corporation.

It's always wonderful to be recognised by your industry & peers but when the recognition comes from society at large amidst an august gathering of top CEO's, corporates, filmmakers & politicians, one can not help but feel proud for being chosen as the representative of an industry (Television) which through its medium & content has the power to affect perceptions & emotions of audiences across the country & the world. .
