'Naam Reh Jaayega' to tell the story of how Lata Mangeshkar came close to being poisoned

As the Indian music industry comes together to honour the late Lata Mangeshkar, TV's special series 'Naam Reh Jaayega' brings together 18 of India's most famous singers to offer a special homage to the 'Nightingale of India,' honouring her legacy and the many memories she left behind.

The audience will view some never-before-seen photos of the iconic singer in the upcoming episode of 'Naam Reh Jaayega,' as well as some exclusive tales from her life that have never been revealed in the public sphere.

The show will also disclose why the legend never married, as well as a bombshell revelation about who attempted to poison our national treasure.

Pyarelal ji, Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Nitin Mukesh, Neeti Mohan, Alka Yagnik, Sadhana Sargam, Udit Narayan, Shaan, Kumar Sanu, Amit Kumar, Jatin Pandit, Javed Ali, Aishwarya, Sneha, Palak Muchhal, and Anwesha also offer stunning tribute performances.

'Naam Reh Jaayega' features India's biggest voices paying tribute to Lata Mangeshkar, whose voice filled generations of music lovers with emotion and hope.

From veteran superstar singers Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Sadhna Sargam to millennial singers Arijit Singh and Neeti Mohan amidst others, paid a beautiful musical tribute to the icon in the first episode.

The eight-episode, hour-long series airs on Sundays on TV at 7 p.m. The legend is no longer amongst us physically, but is still here, and shall continue to live through her magical history of work.
