My mother is a fan of Shoaib Ibrahim’s wife Dipika; excited to work with him: Ayushi Khurana of 'Ajooni'

Star Bharat is all set to launch a new show titled ‘Ajooni’. As reported exclusively by India Forums, Ayushi Khurana has been roped in to play the lead role in the show while popular actor Shoaib Ibrahim will essay the male lead role in the project.

The promo of the show is out and has received a lot of love from the viewers. The core story of the show revolves around Shoaib’s character forcefully marrying a girl named Ajooni as he fells head over heels in love with her. The marriage will be against Ajooni’s wish.

India Forums got in touch with Ayushi Khurana who is set to debut as a lead onscreen. Talking about the same, Ayushi said, “The fact that the show is my debut as the lead, makes me quite excited as well as nervous. With the day of the launch approaching, the anxiety is also increasing. I really love the character that I’m going to play in the show. It is totally opposite of what I played in ‘Mann Sundar’ as I played a negative shaded character while in ‘Ajooni’ I play an extremely righteous character. I feel a sense of responsibility as I play the titular role in the show. I hope audience will shower their love on the show”.

Shoaib Ibrahim is a very humble and grounded and don’t have any starry attitude. My fan is a big fan of Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim. I’m glad to be paired opposite Shoaib as he brings a positive vibe on the sets.

Talking about being paired opposite Shoaib Ibrahim, Khurana added, “I remember meeting Shoaib during our mock shoot and our chemistry looked amazing. Some where down the line, I had a feeling that Shoaib will be locked as the male lead because everybody on set love our chemistry. I was happy to learn that it is Shoaib who has bagged the show. He is very humble and grounded and don’t have any starry attitude. My mom is a big fan of Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim. I’m glad to be paired opposite Shoaib as he brings a positive vibe on the sets”.
