This is your comeback after a long time. What kept you busy after Love Story?
I was basically working on multiple advertisement campaigns during the due course of time.

Is there any similarity between Mishal Raheja as a person and Dutta Patil's character in Laagi Tujhse Lagan?
No, there is absolutely no similarity between the two. They are two equally opposite characters, not just because they look different or hail from different backgrounds. It's because I am a very fun loving person, the happy-go-lucky types and this seems totally missing in Dutta Patil's character.

One prominent quality according to you, in Dutta Patil's character?
The power that he holds and the money he loves to spend lavishly, I feel are the striking qualities of the character. Also his mature personality at a very young age is what appeals to me the most.

Did you have to work on anything to play this role?
I would say partially yes. To enhance Dutta's character, meeting the underworld people in person is practically not easy. But I did some personal research to understand the body language, voice modulation and physical appearance of a person like him. And finally on screen what matters is the actor's capacity to deliver it well.

You are not playing the typical romantic boy in the show, were you apprehensive of taking up this role?
No, not at all as an actor. I can't deliver similar kind of character to the audience time and again. And Dutta's character is not just concerned with serious acting; if you have seen the last few episodes, you will see Dutta having romantic scenes too.

How is it to work with the cast of the show?   
The cast is just amazing to work with. Most of them are much senior to me in all concerns. They all are very experienced people and I get lot to learn from them at every step. Their helping attitude makes my character interpretation easier.

What do you prefer - a romantic role or a serious one?
Nothing in specific, all depends upon the storyline.

Did you give any inputs for your look in the show? How was the look planned?
Surely I gave the idea of short hair, open collared shirt. Also the idea of wearing gold chains was my share in character enhancement. And as I opted for such kind of a look it added to my comfort on the sets.

Who is your inspiration when it comes to acting?
My inspiration is basically within me - my dream, my desires in life to become a famous actor. And most importantly, my passion towards acting is also one of the reasons.

You had big Bollywood plans after your SAB TV show. What exactly happened to that? Are you still trying for films?
Yes I was trying to get a Bollywood break, but a right one hasn't come my way yet. And right now I just wish to concentrate completely on my current project.

Which has been the most challenging work you have done so far?
I would say that more than a character, facing the camera at the beginning of my career was really a challenge for me. Also, the very first advertisement that I did, pushed me a lot to deliver more.
