Mr. & Mrs. Mahi starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao goes on floor; Karan Johar wishes the team luck

New beginnings to anything are a great thing and it becomes more special for the actors and the team when they begin filming their new project. The cast and crew members of Mr. & Mrs. Mahi must be feeling the same as they begin shooting for the film today.  

Taking to its official Instagram handle, Dharma Productions shared a post with a picture of the clap card with the movie name on it. While sharing the picture, they penned,

 "The field is set and team #MrAndMrsMahi is all geared up! Day 1 of shoot begins."

Even Karan Johar took to his Instagram stories and shared the post. With the picture, he wrote,

"Best Of Luck to the entire team of #Mr&Mrs Mahi for starting the first innings! Knock it out of the park".

He then tagged the director, producers and the cast members of the film. Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor will play the leads in this movie. Rajkummar Rao also re-shared Karan's story on his Instagram handle. 

Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, a new film starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, was announced by producer Karan Johar in November 2021. Mr. & Mrs. Mahi is billed as a gripping story of cricketing dreams. Janhvi Kapoor had previously revealed some of her filming preparations. The actress was photographed with Dinesh Karthik at a cricket camp.

While announcing the film, Karan Johar wrote, “One dream, chased by two hearts. Presenting #MrAndMrsMahi, directed by Sharan Sharma who is back with another heart-warming story to tell with his touch of magic! Starring Rajkummar Rao & Janhvi Kapoor, a partnership to look forward to. See you on the field aka the cinemas on 7th October, 2022.” The announcement on a  cricket ball and read, “No dream is ever achieved alone”.
