Moon Banerjee to enter Star Bharat's 'Muskaan'

Star Bharat's Muskaan recently took a leap and the makers roped in actors Yesha Rughani and Ssharad Malhotra to play the lead pair. And now, the show will see another entry.

The main plot revolves around the struggles of a bar dancer and her daughter Muskaan, who has a troubled life and faces social unacceptance because of her mother's profession.

According to reports, actress Moon Banerjee who was last seen in Sony TV's Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, has been roped to play Raunak's (Ssharad Malhotra) mother in the show.

Moon has been a part of shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Sasural Genda Phool and Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani. Muskaan will be her first show where she plays a mother, to a male protagonist.

The show produced under Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, will soon air Dussehra themed episodes, where a shooter will be hired to kill Muskaan and Raunak. However, Raunak will uncover the shooter's game plan and save Muskaan's life and thus showcasing that good always wins over the evil.
