Mohammad Samad on playing Sushant Singh Rajput's son in 'Chhichhore'

Actor Mohammad Samad may just be in his younger days of age but has already made a huge mark with the many roles he has starred in so far. Be it a lead role in Netflix's Selection Day or playing Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor's on-screen son in Chhichhore, he has been applauded for both these performances a lot.

Now, the actor is all set to play the role of a young Sai Baba in MX Player's Sabka Sai. In an interview with ETimes TV, Samad opened up on how was it working with Rajput in Chhichhore and what made him choose acting. He first said, "I started doing films because it was just fun for me. I never really thought much about it as a career. I actually started enjoying being an actor when I was shooting for ‘Tumbbad’, for which I had taken a leave of four months from school. I also got an opportunity to learn a lot from Anand Gandhi sir; he gave me tips to polish my acting skills. I was really amused when I started exploring further. I started getting opportunities and kept on taking them up."

Talking about working with Rajput, he said, 'I had a lovely experience. He used to share his problems with us on the sets and also solve our problems. He has taken me to his house for parties many times. He used to treat me like his kid off-screen too. During the ICU scene in ‘Chhichhore’, one of my eyes used to be closed and there were many pipes attached to my body, so he used to make sure I was comfortable. He was the one who used to make energy drinks for me. He was very sweet and I really miss him."

We are sure the fans would agree with his sentiments as much as to how much does everyone miss the actor.
