If reports are to be believed, Mira Rajput Kapoor is expecting her second baby with husband Shahid Kapoor.

The couple who became proud parents to their baby daughter Misha Kapoor on August 29, 2016 are all set to welcome a new member in their family.

In their earlier interviews, both Shahid and Mira had confirmed that they will soon be planning for their second child as Mira wants to break the stereotype of first settling down with her career and then have a baby. He had also shared that she would go for babies first and then would step into her professional life.

"Mira, who is just 22, would prefer to have a second kid soon as well. She wants to flip the norm, get the kids to a certain age and then be free to do what she likes," Shahid said in a statement.

Earlier, during a media interaction, when Mira was asked "When is she planning to start her professional career?" she had said that there is no deadline and retorted, "Because I am going to have another baby, and then decide."

Now, looking at her recent public outings, speculations are rife that she is pregnant with her second baby. Recently, she has been donning a lot of maxi dresses and palazzos and this has added fuel to the fire.

Also, Shahid has been very vocal about his personal life and had clearly stated in his previous interviews that he and Mira are planning for their next child. And it seems, the day has finally arrived.

However, an official confirmation about the same is still awaited.

When Misha was born to them, Shahid revealed that it wasn't planned. He was quoted as saying, "It wasn't planned actually, but I think we were ready for it. I was impatient to get married and have a family. My job is a lonely one, I was lonely for three or four years."

Also, when she was pregnant with their daughter Misha, Shahid gushed, "It's nice to say 'we' were pregnant because it gives you a sense of participation and responsibility. When she was in labour, I held my breath. At one point, I got dizzy and she whacked me and said, 'Why are you getting dizzy? I'm doing all the work here."
