Mika Singh Suffers 10 Crore Loss, Blames Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover – Here’s Why

Mika Singh, who produced the MX Original Dangerous, has made some serious allegations against Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover. He claimed that he suffered a ?10 crore loss due to the project and accused the couple of being unprofessional. He also hinted that their past actions have impacted their current career situation.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Mika Singh revealed that he had initially set a budget of ?4 crores for Dangerous, but the costs escalated to ?14-15 crores. The film was shot in London with a crew of 50 people, but things changed when Bipasha Basu joined the project.

Mika had originally planned to cast Karan Singh Grover with a lesser-known actress to keep the budget in control. However, after Bipasha came on board, he claimed that several issues arose, leading to unexpected delays and complications.

Mika alleged that Bipasha’s behavior on set caused disruptions, as she refused to perform certain scripted scenes. He commented on their current career situation, saying, "Dono mere chahite ghar pe baithe hain. Agar aap ek insaan ko dukhi karoge, bhagwan bhi dekhte hain.” (Both my favorites are sitting at home. If you make someone suffer, even God watches.)

He further mentioned that Bipasha backed out of a kissing scene at the last moment, despite it being part of the script and pre-planned by the director and writer. Mika also said that all payments were made on time, but the shoot still faced unnecessary delays.

Mika also spoke about the difficulties he faced during dubbing. He claimed that both Bipasha and Karan made excuses to avoid the process. Expressing his frustration, he said, “Dubbing ke time itna dukhi kara Bipasha ne, Bipasha ka gala kharab hai-Karan ka gala kharab hai.” (During dubbing, Bipasha troubled me a lot—first, her throat was bad, then Karan’s throat was bad.)

Even after completing the film, Mika stated that the financial damage had already been done.

The story follows Aditya Dhanraj (Karan Singh Grover), a wealthy entrepreneur, who gets entangled in the case of his missing wife, Dia Dhanraj. His past collides with the present when his ex-lover, Neha Singh (Bipasha Basu), is assigned to investigate the case.
