'Meri Grihlakshmi': Gurmeet Choudhary attributes fresh chapter to wife Debina as they move in to a NEW House

Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonarjee, popularly known as Ram and Sita from Imagine TV's Ramayana, have been married for almost two decades now. The couple, who are now parents to two doting baby girls, have recently marked another milestone in their lives as they shifted to a new house.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Gurmeet shared a video of wife Debina in their new house, which is still under construction and later went ahead to pen a heartfelt note for the actress. Recalling starting their journey together with just one suitcase to now another house, Gurmeet attributes it all to wife Debina and calls her his 'Grihlakshmi.'

The actor writes, ''Ek waqt tha jab humare paas sirf ek suitcase tha—usme hum dono ke kapde the, sapne the, aur ek dusre ka sahaara. Aaj jab peeche mudke dekhti hoon, toh dil bhar aata hai… us ek suitcase se lekar yahan tak ka safar sirf ek wajah se mumkin hua—meri Grihalakshmi. Sach kehte hain, agar aapke saath ek sahi saathi ho, toh zindagi kitni bhi mushkil ho, aap aasman tak pahunch sakte ho. Yeh naya ghar sirf ek makan nahi, humare pyaar, mehnat aur aap sabki duaon ka sabse khoobsurat tohfa hai. Dil se shukriya har uss insaan ka jo is safar ka hissa raha.''

As soon as the 'Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen' fame shared the said video, fans and friends from the fraternity congratulated him for the new chapter. Gauahar Khan, Ihana Dhillon, Namitaa Sachdeva, Debchandrima Roy amongst others congratulated the couple as they are all set to begin their new journey.

For the uninformed, Gurmeet and Debina tied the knot on the 15th of February 2011 after being in a brief relationship. The couple tied the knot for the second time in 2021 and embraced parenthood in 2022.
