Megyn Kely slams Blake Lively's entry in Time's 100 Most Influential List; says, 'To try to ruin a man'

Blake Lively was one of the star guests and a ‘Titan’ at the Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World for 2025. She attended the event looking lovely in a rose pink gown. Her husband, Ryan Reynolds and mother Willie Elain McAlpin were there with her. She spoke about how her mother suffered harassment and near death from a workplace acquaintance but got courage after hearing an anonymous woman’s story of survival on radio. Blake Lively said that she wanted to celebrate the triumph of women. She also said that women can endure unimaginable pain in their lives.

However, her impassioned speech has not impressed political commentator Megyn Kelly. In an interaction with Daily Mail, she called her out from the Time 100 Gala itself. She said Blake Lively had not left any influence on pop culture, and levelled a ‘fake MeToo allegation’ on actor and filmmaker Justin Baldoni.

It’s a ridiculous joke. She shouldn’t be here. She has no influence over anything. She launched a fake MeToo allegation… She’s lived to regret doing it because virtually every allegation she has made has fallen apart. And so for her to be honoured for doing that, to try to ruin a man over absolutely nothing, is a scandal.

She said she understands why publications want big stars at events but this was a very wrong move. She said she is sure that Blake Lively would steer clear of her at the do, but she has no issues with anyone per se.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have been involved in one of the most documented lawsuits on sexual harassment. She claimed she suffered during the filming of It Ends With Us. He has said that what she did was extortion, defamation and invasion of privacy to gain complete creative control over the film.
