Meet the NEW ‘Gayu’ of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’!

Rajan Shahi’s long-running Star Plus show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, featuring Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi in lead roles, is one of the most loved shows on small-screen. To make the show more interesting and entertaining for the viewers, the makers of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ are set to introduce a five-year-leap post which Kartik (Mohsin) & Naira (Shivangi) will get separated.

TV actress Deblina Chatterjee, who replaced Kanchi Singh as ‘Gayatri’ aka ‘Gayu’, confirmed quitting the show as she wasn’t ready to play a mother 5-year leap in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Now, the makers have found their new ‘Gayu’. Reportedly, the makers have roped in TV actress Simran Khanna to replace Deblina as new ‘Gayu’.

Confirming the same, Simran Khanna told an entertainment portal that, she is excited to win hearts with her stint as ‘Gayu’ in the Star Plus show as the character is very nice and positive.

She further added that, it’s a nice feeling to be a part of such a popular show.

Simran Khanna will be seen opposite actor Samir Onkar in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ who is playing the role of Gayu’s husband Samarth Goenka.

Yesterday (7th June), Simran Khanna took to her Instagram account and shared that she has already started shooting for ‘YehRishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. She posted a picture from the show’s sets with the caption, “yrkkh #gayu a new journey on the show …keep up blessings and love guys #positivevibes”
