Masaba Masaba Season 2 confirms release date; Neena Gupta and Masaba in an anxious situation in new glimpse

Recently, the second teaser for Masaba Masaba Season 2, which stars actor Neena Gupta and fashion designer Masaba Gupta has been released. Masaba examines a pregnancy test in the brief clip before seeing her nervous mother when she exits the restroom.

Masaba will be confronting fresh highs and lows in the upcoming season. The mother-daughter team of Neena and Masaba promise a season that will be emotionally and mentally taxing as they embark on new professional routes and deal with new and old love interests, sorrow, emotions, and competitiveness.

Neena and Masaba shared the teasers on their official Instagram handles and wrote, "Looking for something to motivate you to get outta bed on a gloomy rainy day? Well. I've got some news that might just do the trick. Masaba Masaba season 2 , coming to you on 29th July only on Netflix,"

In Season 2, the women take control of their lives once again and negotiate unfamiliar territory. Masaba said she "tasted blood" on the sets of her semi-biographical drama series in an earlier interview with Indian Express. She quoted,

“I did start to enjoy acting but honestly didn’t think something like this would come about. The film is about me and everyone I am interacting with. I think I just tasted blood on the set of Masaba Masaba. Acting is exciting, different and quite cool. I enjoy it way too much, actually as much as I love running my business."

Masaba was last seen in the anthology Modern Love: Mumbai.

In a recent interview, director Sonam Nair had shared how Ashvini Yardi introduced Masaba Masaba to her. She stated that was an idea, a concept she fell in love with right away, and was confident it was going to bring a plethora of positive emotions with it.

With Neil Bhoopalam, Rytasha Rathore, Kusha Kapila, Kareema Barry, Barkha Singh, Ram Kapoor, and Armaan Khera among its cast, Masaba Masaba is directed by Sonam Nair and made by Viniyard Films. On July 29, the show will premiere.
