Mansi Srivastava made her way into the Dheeraj Dhoopar and Shraddha Arya starrer Kundali Bhagya, a show that has been doing really well with the fans. The show took a 3-month leap and that made way for a new entry in the form of Karan Luthra's college friend, Sonakshi.
India forums got in touch with the actress and Mansi spoke about the response so far, working in an ensemble cast, and more. Read the conversation here.
The response so far has been amazing, what has the first-hand response for you been?
The response has been really great, the fans loved it, all my friends and family loved it, and the entry scene was so good and it was written well and then when it came on TV, it seemed like I have already been a part of the show for a long time now.
Since it has an ensemble cast already, what was the thought process on that front?
Yes, it has an ensemble cast, they are already very set and have been doing the show for 4 years, but because before I have done shows with ensemble cast, across various ages, so I was prepared for the kind of people I would meet. I got really good vibes from the show so I knew what I was getting into.
Kundali Bhagya is an iconic show, and also has great TRPs, did that seem like pressure for you?
There's a little pressure because it is an established show and has been going great, so yes I felt that, but that is there every time when I enter a new show. After the first day, everything goes smooth and everything is fine, it is just the first day jitters. I hope it goes well and the TRPs get better, which I think has started.
You mentioned receiving a warm welcome from both Shraddha and Dheeraj, how has the shooting experience been so far?
The shooting experience has been good, Shraddha and Dhreeraj both are very warm and nice. The team, the director is very good, the whole team is very warm, including Anjum, Abhishek, Ruhi, Sanjay, Twinkle, and everyone is nice and friendly. I think it is a very good team.
Is this a cameo, or will we see you for an extended track?
It is an extended track.
Mansi has been a part of multiple shows like Ishq Me Marjawan, Ishqbaaaz, among others. Meanwhile, Kundali Bhagya recently clocked in 1000 episodes last month and continues to garner a lot of love from the fans.
